Sometimes it makes you bitter,
Sometimes it makes you hot,
Sometimes it makes you cold,
Other times it makes you cry,
Whatever it does, it makes you uncomfortable
There are days it drives you to kill
Kill with your thoughts,
Kill with your words,
Kill with your actions.
On other days where it makes you cry,
It leaves you completely broken,
Helpless to act or even react.
It is easy to make a friend,
Although it is our greatest enemy,
Always in conjunction with it’s brother pride
Be angry but do not sin…
The Bible says
But then it drives us to sin
And even when we think we’ve concealed it,
Believing our silence and inaction don’t convey it
Our thoughts betray us
How then do we fight this monster
Container and controlled on the outside
Raging a fire, stirring a storm within
I TAKE IT TO THE LORD IN PRAYER.
